THE EQUINOX CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Individual Americano

What is it?

This is our premier individual competition. It’s a series of monthly Americano tournaments where you sign up as a solo player and rotate partners for every match. It’s your chance to test your skills, meet lots of other competitive players, and accumulate points to qualify for our prestigious, season-ending Grand Final.

How it works

The series is made up of monthly “Championship Qualifier” Americano tournaments. The top players from each qualifier win a “Golden Ticket” invitation to the Grand Final, where they will battle to be crowned the seasonal Club Champion.

THE FIXED DOUBLES AMERICANO

What is it?

A true test of teamwork. Unlike a traditional mix-in, this is where you sign up with your regular doubles partner. You’ll play together as a fixed pair for the entire tournament, facing off against every other team to see who is the ultimate duo. It’s the perfect format to test your communication and strategy against a variety of opponents.

It’s the perfect arena to sharpen your team tactics and find your true level as a partnership. It’s a fun, competitive day out with your favourite playing partner.

THE EQUINOX KNOCKOUT CUP

What is it?

Our premier fixed-doubles knockout competition. You and your partner enter a bracket and battle it out in a high-stakes, single-elimination tournament. There are no second chances. One loss, and you’re out. Win, and you’re one step closer to being crowned champions.

The Format

The Cup is split into Intermediate and Advanced divisions to ensure fair matches. The journey to the final is a thrilling, multi-stage challenge:

1. The Qualifiers: Enter one of four 8-team qualifier events. Win, and you advance.
2. The Semi-Finals: The four qualifier winners from each division meet. Win, and you’re in the Final.
3. The Grand Final: A full, best-of-3-sets match to decide the undisputed champions

Pricing & how to enter

Entry is a simple, one-off fee for the specific qualifier tournament you and your partner wish to enter. If your team wins the qualifier, your path through the Semi-Finals and the Grand Final is completely covered—that’s your reward for winning! If you get knocked out, you are welcome to enter another available qualifier for a second shot at glory by paying a new entry fee.
